🚀 Quick Reset Process
Step 1: Navigate to Password Reset
Or click "Forgot Password?" on the login page
Step 2: Enter Your Email
Enter the email address associated with your Clubly account
Complete the CAPTCHA verification (security requirement)
Click "Send Reset Link"
Success Message: You'll see "If an account exists, a password reset email has been sent" - this is for security purposes to prevent email enumeration.
Step 3: Check Your Email
Check your inbox for an email from [email protected]
Subject: "Reset Your Clubly Password"
Email should arrive within 2-5 minutes
Not in inbox? Check your spam/junk folder. Add [email protected] to your contacts.
Step 4: Click the Reset Link
Open the email and click the "Reset Password" button
You'll be taken to:
clubly.vip/auth/reset-password?token=...The link is valid for 1 hour only
Step 5: Create New Password
Your new password must meet these requirements:
✅ Minimum 8 characters
✅ At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
✅ At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
✅ At least one number (0-9)
✅ At least one special character (!@#$%^&*)
Password Strength Indicator: The form will show you how strong your password is in real-time.
Step 6: Confirm & Login
Enter your new password twice to confirm
Click "Reset Password"
You'll be automatically redirected to the login page
Login with your email and new password
⚠️ Common Issues
"Link Has Expired"
Problem: The reset link is only valid for 1 hour.
Solution:
Go back to the forgot password page
Request a new reset link
Check your email and use the link within 1 hour
"Invalid or Used Token"
Problem: The link has already been used or is invalid.
Solution:
Request a fresh password reset link
Only use the most recent link sent to your email
Previous links become invalid once you request a new one
"Email Not Found"
Problem: No account exists with that email address.
Possible Reasons:
You may have used a different email to sign up
Check for typos in the email address
You might need to create a new account
"Too Many Attempts"
Problem: Rate limiting triggered (2 attempts per 5 minutes)
Solution:
Wait 5 minutes before trying again
This is a security feature to prevent abuse
"Email Not Verified"
Problem: Your account email isn't verified yet.
Solution:
First complete email verification
Then you can reset your password
Check your inbox for the verification email

After successfully resetting, the link becomes invalid
This prevents replay attacks
Time-Limited Links
Reset links expire after 1 hour
Request a new link if yours has expired

We never confirm if an email exists in our system
