The Flow

1. Host Creates Affiliate Program

Set commission rate:
Example: $5 per ticket sold

2. Invite Affiliates

Email/text invite links
They accept and get unique link

3. Affiliates Promote

Share link on:
- Social media
- DMs
- WhatsApp
- Email
- In person

4. Track Sales

Dashboard shows:
- Who sold what
- How much earned
- Real-time updates

5. Pay Commissions

After event:
- Manual payouts (Venmo, Cash App, etc.)

🚀 Setting Up Affiliate Program

Step 1: Enable Affiliates

During Event Creation:

Marketing Section → Enable Affiliates

Or After:
Event → Settings → Affiliates → Enable

Step 2: Set Commission Structure

Commission Options:

Fixed Per Ticket:

$5 per ticket sold
Simple and clear

Example:
Sells 10 tickets → Earns $50
Sells 50 tickets → Earns $250

Percentage of Ticket:

10% of ticket price
Scales with price

Example:
$50 ticket → $5 commission
$100 ticket → $10 commission

Tiered Commissions:

0-10 tickets: $3 each
11-25 tickets: $5 each
26+ tickets: $7 each

Incentivizes volume!

Step 3: Set Rules

Minimum Payout:

Example: $25 minimum
Affiliate must sell enough to reach $25
Reduces small payouts

Cookie Duration:

How long link credit lasts:
- 30 days (standard)
- 7 days (short)
- 90 days (generous)

If customer clicks link but buys later,
affiliate still gets credit (if within window)

Affiliate Ticket Limit:

Max tickets one affiliate can sell
Example: 100 tickets max
Prevents over-reliance on one person
