Unlock Full Access to Clubly

Account verification is required to use Clubly. This helps us keep the platform secure and ensures you're a real person. The process takes less than 5 minutes!


🎯 Why Verification is Required

Security & Safety

  • Prevents spam and fake accounts

  • Protects event hosts and attendees

  • Reduces fraudulent activity

  • Enables secure payments

Required for Access

  • You must verify both email AND phone to access your account

  • Without verification, you cannot:

    • Login to your dashboard

    • Create or purchase tickets

    • Receive important notifications


📧 Email Verification

Step 1: Registration

When you create your Clubly account, we automatically send a verification email to the address you provided.

Step 2: Check Your Email

  1. Look for an email from [email protected]

  2. Subject: "Verify Your Clubly Account"

  3. Should arrive within 2-5 minutes

Not in inbox? Check your spam/junk folder and add [email protected] to your safe senders list.

  1. Open the email

  2. Click the "Verify Email Address" button

  3. You'll be redirected to verify.clubly.vip

  4. Then back to clubly.vip with a success message

Step 4: Complete Phone Verification

After email verification, you'll be prompted to verify your phone number next.


📱 Phone Verification

Step 1: Enter Phone Number

  1. After email verification, enter your phone number

  2. Format: Include country code (e.g., +1 for US)

  3. Click "Send Code"

Step 2: Receive SMS Code

  1. Check your phone for a text message

  2. From: Clubly Verify

  3. Contains a 6-digit code

  4. Code expires in 10 minutes

Step 3: Enter Code

  1. Enter the 6-digit code from your SMS

  2. Click "Verify Phone"

  3. You now have full access!

Step 4: Access Your Account

Once both verifications are complete:

  • ✅ Email verified

  • ✅ Phone verified

  • 🎉 Full access granted!


⚠️ Troubleshooting

Email Issues

"Email not received"

Wait Time: Give it 5-10 minutes. Sometimes there's a delay.

Check These Places:

  • Spam/Junk folder

  • Promotions tab (Gmail)

  • Updates tab (Gmail)

  • Social tab (Gmail)

Still Nothing?

  1. Check the email address you entered is correct

  2. Try adding [email protected] to contacts

  3. Request a new verification email from your account settings

Problem: Verification links expire after 24 hours.

Solution:

  1. Try to login

  2. You'll see a "Resend Verification Email" button

  3. Click it to get a fresh link

"Email already verified"

Situation: You've already completed email verification.

Next Step: Proceed to phone verification if you haven't done that yet.

Phone Issues

"SMS not received"

Check These:

  • Phone number is correct (including country code)

  • Phone has signal and can receive SMS

  • No SMS blocking apps installed

  • Not using a VoIP number (some don't work)

Solutions:

  • Wait 2-3 minutes (can be delayed)

  • Click "Resend Code" (available after 60 seconds)

  • Try a different phone number

Rate Limits:

  • 2 code requests per 5 minutes

  • 3 verification attempts per 5 minutes

"Invalid code"

Common Causes:

  • Code expired (10-minute limit)

  • Typo when entering code

  • Using an old code (only newest is valid)

Solution:

  • Request a new code

  • Carefully enter all 6 digits

  • Don't include spaces

"Phone number already in use"

Problem: That phone number is registered to another account.

Solutions:

  1. Use a different phone number

  2. If you have an old account, contact support to merge/delete it

  3. Make sure you're not trying to create a duplicate account


🔄 Resending Verification

Resend Email Verification

Method 1: From Login Page

  1. Go to login page

  2. Enter your email and password

  3. If unverified, you'll see "Resend Email" button

  4. Click it to get a new link

Method 2: From Account Settings

  1. Somehow access settings (limited access)

  2. Navigate to "Account" → "Verification"

  3. Click "Resend Email Verification"

Resend Phone Code

During Verification:

  1. Wait 60 seconds after first request

  2. Click "Resend Code" button

  3. New code sent via SMS

From Login:

  1. Try to login

  2. See "Phone Not Verified" message

  3. Click "Resend Verification Code"


⏱️ Verification Timeline

  • Valid for: 24 hours

  • Delivery time: 2-5 minutes (usually instant)

  • Can be resent: Unlimited times

Phone Verification Code

  • Valid for: 10 minutes

  • Delivery time: 30 seconds - 2 minutes

  • Resend cooldown: 60 seconds

  • Rate limit: 2 requests per 5 minutes

  • Two-factor verification: Extra layer of security

  • Account recovery: Help you regain access if needed

  • Important alerts: Payment issues, security notifications

  • SMS marketing: Promote your events (optional, for hosts)

Privacy Promise

We respect your privacy:

  • Phone number is encrypted in our database

  • Never shared with third parties without consent

  • Used only for verification and critical notifications

  • You control marketing preferences

  • All personal data is encrypted

  • Right to deletion (contact support)

  • Secure storage on encrypted servers


🎫 Verification Status

Check Your Status

From Dashboard:

  1. Login to your account

  2. Go to Settings → Account

  3. See verification badges:

    • ✅ Email Verified

    • ✅ Phone Verified

What Happens If Not Verified?

Limited Access:

  • Cannot create events

  • Cannot purchase tickets

  • Cannot access dashboard fully

  • Redirected to verification flow

Login Behavior:

  • If phone not verified: Redirected to phone verification

  • If email not verified: Redirected to email verification

  • Both required before full access


📱 Mobile App Verification

The process is the same in the Clubly mobile app:

iOS/Android

  1. Create account in app

  2. Check email on your device

  3. Tap verification link (opens in app)

  4. Return to app

  5. Enter phone number

  6. Receive SMS code

  7. Enter code in app

  8. ✅ Verified!

If you've followed all steps and still can't verify:

Include This Information:

  1. Your email address

  2. Which verification step is failing (email or phone)

  3. Any error messages you see

  4. Screenshots if possible

  5. Phone number (for phone verification issues)

Response Time: Verification issues are high priority - expect response within 2-4 hours.
