My Payment Was Declined

Card declined at checkout? Annoying, but almost always fixable in under a minute. The decline comes from your bank or card issuer, not from Clubly, and no money is taken (you might see a pending authorization, it drops off on its own).

Quick fixes, in order

  1. Recheck the card details. Card number, expiry date, CVC, and billing ZIP. One wrong digit is the #1 cause.

  2. Check the balance. Make sure the card has enough for the full total (ticket price plus service fee).

  3. Check your banking app. Banks often block a first purchase at a new merchant as a fraud precaution. Many apps show a "was this you?" prompt, approve it and try again.

  4. Try another card. If a second card also fails, the connection or browser may be the issue: refresh the page or switch networks and retry.

  5. Debit or prepaid card? Some prepaid and international cards can't be used for online purchases. Use a standard credit or debit card instead.

Worried you were charged anyway?

Check your tickets at clubly.vip/dashboard/tickets. No ticket there means no completed purchase, and any pending charge you see is an authorization that will disappear within a few business days. See the article "Why Do I See Two Charges on My Card?" for how those work.

Still declining?

Your bank can tell you the exact reason for the decline (we only see that it was declined, not why). If the bank says everything is fine and it still won't go through, message us in the chat, email [email protected], or open a ticket at clubly.vip/support and we'll dig in from our side.
