✅ Before You Start - 5 Minute Checklist

1. Account Setup

  • Created Clubly account

  • Verified email address

  • Verified phone number

2. Have These Ready

  • Event name and description

  • Date and time

  • Venue/location name and address

  • Cover image (at least 1200x630px)

  • Ticket pricing (if charging)

3. For Paid Events

  • Stripe account connected

Selling tickets? You'll need to set up Stripe first. Takes 5-10 minutes.

🎯 Quick Create (Essential Steps Only)

Step 1: Start Creating (30 seconds)

  1. Log into clubly.vip/dashboard

  2. Click "Create Event" in the sidebar

  3. You'll see the event creation wizard

Step 2: Basic Details (2 minutes)

Fill out the essentials:

📝 Event Name    Example: "Summer Pool Party 2025"  📅 Date    Use the calendar picker  ⏰ Start & End Time    Example: 8:00 PM - 2:00 AM  📍 Venue    Example: "Sky Lounge NYC"  📍 Address    Full address - use auto-complete  🎯 Category    Select from dropdown (e.g., "Nightclub")  🔞 Age Restriction    18+, 21+, or All Ages

Pro Tip: The address auto-complete makes this super easy! Just start typing and select from the suggestions.

Step 3: Description (3 minutes)

Write a compelling description:

Step 4: Upload Cover Image (1 minute)

  1. Click "Upload Cover Image"

  2. Select your image (JPG or PNG)

  3. Wait for upload to complete

  4. Image appears instantly

Image Requirements:

  • Minimum: 1200x630px

  • Format: JPG, PNG, or WebP

  • Max size: 10MB

  • Clear, high-quality photo

Don't have an image? Use Canva to create one in minutes with their event templates!

Step 5: Create Tickets (3 minutes)

Create at least one ticket type:

Free Event:

Paid Event:

🎫 Name: "General Admission" 💰 Price: $25.00 🔢 Quantity: 200  Platform fee (10% + $0.99) added at checkout. Customer pays: $27.49 You receive: $25.00

Step 6: Review & Publish (1 minute)

Before publishing, check:

  • Event name spelled correctly

  • Date and time are right

  • Address is accurate

  • Cover image looks good

  • Ticket price is correct

  • For paid events: Stripe connected

Ready?

  1. Set status to "Scheduled"

  2. Click "Create Event"

  3. 🎉 Your event is live!

What Happens Now?

1. Your Event is Published

  • Visible at: clubly.vip/events/your-event-name

  • Searchable on Clubly

  • Ready for ticket sales

2. Share Your Event

Copy your event link and share it:

  • 📱 SMS to your contacts

  • 📧 Email to your list

  • 📘 Post on Facebook

  • 📸 Share on Instagram

  • 🐦 Tweet about it

One-Click Sharing: Your event page has built-in share buttons for all major platforms!

3. Track Your Sales

Go to Dashboard → My Events to see:

  • Real-time ticket sales

  • Revenue generated

  • Attendee list

  • Analytics

A: You can cancel anytime:

  1. Edit your event

  2. Change status to "Cancelled"

  3. All ticket holders get refunded

  4. Everyone is notified

Note: Try to avoid cancelling - it hurts your reputation.

Q: Do I get paid immediately?

A: Almost!

  • Standard: 24-48 hours after event

  • Instant payouts: Available for verified accounts

  • Money goes directly to your bank
